included in the video is the scripture Psalm 1:1-3 which reads as follows:
Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
As a believer taking this onboard I'd like to encourage you to tackle your week with this lifestyle. By taking the time to seek first God in all that you do, he will provide the things that we need to guide us to a new and deeper understanding. By meditating day and night on Gods Word, the Bible tells us that what we do will prosper.
How do I put this into action?
Great question! Here's a couple of ideas to get into the Bible LifeStyle - see what works best for you and let me know, I'd love to hear any new ideas:
- Spend the first 30 mins of your day reading through the Bible
- Read a chapter of Proverbs a day (there's 31 so that's a months readings)
- Buddy up with a friend and read through the gospels together
- Reflect through the Psalms reading one per day
- Download a Bible App and get notifications for a verse of the day to remind you of Gods grace through out the day.
